We will be doing all building work ourselves (wish us luck lol) with a VERY limited budget, which obviously won't be helped by the fact that all of the wooden structure needs to be replaced.
The whole project is likely to take quite a bit of time... so far we (=hubby) have taken apart most of the structure and as for the building materials, the only thing we have bought so far are 5 glass bricks that will be used as windows for the sauna. The rest is still very much in progress since we are looking at different options for materials and accessories including shipping everything from Finland due to availability problems and excessive prices here (900 euros plus for sauna stove that costs 200 euros in Finland for example...). Probably will end up somewhere in between like getting all wooden materials locally, sauna stove from Finland and smaller accessories from Germany (pretty good prices and cheap shipping costs to Italy).
Since I completely forgot to take a pic of the gazebo before we started demolishing it, here is an old one taken shortly after we moved in (will be posting some work in progress pics later on):

And the very first sketch of the sauna/dressing room. Plans have since changed slightly and this is not in scale but the essence is already there (only had Paint on the new pc at the time, sorry).
